Ringing Bells’ Freedom 251 is believed to be the world’s cheapest smartphone in the market. This mobile will be launched soon in India and will be available in the market.
The price of the mobile, Freedom 251 will be Rs. 251 only. Though there are more questions than answers about the performance of this cheapest smartphone, the company, Ringing Bells is going ahead with bookings.
When the Booking Starts? Bookings for the Freedom 251 starts on February 18, 2016, Thursday from 6.00 am and the bookings will close on February 21, at 8.00 pm.
This smartphone will be dual-SIM capable, 3G phone. Screen display comes with 4-inch WVGA resolution. Comes with a processor of 1.3 Ghz quad-core processor.
Freedom 251 is manufactured by not a big or well-known company. A Noida based Indian company is taking this initiative to sell a cheapest phone to reach out the last man of the nation.
When the company said about the launch of Freedom 251, it said this smartphone comes out in line with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s vision for “empowering India to the last person, transforming India’s growth story”
Ringing Bells’ Freedom251 was launched by the defence minister Manohar Parrikar. The new comer to the Indian mobile phone market, Ringing Bells had earlier launched one of India’s cheapest 4G smartphone at Rs 2,999. This company has also launched two other mobile phones in the market.
Recently, global smartphone makers like Xiaomi, Motorola and Gionee have started to assemble their handsets in India. Only after a detailed review of Freedom 251, the advantages and disadvantages of the low-priced smartphone will be out. Whatsoever, this mobile phone which has made a price tag under Rs. 500 will be in demand in the country. For many, the freedom (251) is yet to be experienced.
