Chennai: Superstar Mahesh Babu made his Tamil debut with the much-hyped film ‘Spyder’ and the movie is expected to get a massive response at the box office. But the Telugu actor is nervous about his new innings.
Recently, in an interview with a leading website, Mahesh Babu confessed that he is nervous ahead of his Tamil debut ‘Spyder’. “I’ve been having sleepless nights. I’m nervous, but at the same time excited. SPYDER is my debut in Tamil and I feel like a debutante despite being an actor for 18 years,” said Mahesh Babu.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film is made on a whopping budget of Rs 125 crore. This is for the first time Mahesh Babu has collaborated with Murugadoss. The superstar shared his experience of working with the filmmaker and said, “We’ve been discussing about joining hands for a decade now. It’s a dream combination, to work with Murugadoss sir, and it has happened at the right time. We’ve all given our best to this project.
The Mahesh Babu starrer spy thriller released worldwide today and the superstar is looking dashing as always. The best part of the movie is that he delivered his lines on his own.
Delighted by the grand welcome of people at the audio launch in Chennai, he said, “People have given me a grand welcome already. The love and warmth they showed me for the audio launch in Chennai is proof of it.”
Apart from Mahesh Babu, the film stars Rakul Preet Singh, R J Balaji, Priyadarshi and Surya S.J in key roles.
