World’s largest and leading smartphone manufacturer Samsung Electronics has come up with the plan of launching smartphones running on its own Tizen operating system.
Sources from South Korea’s business newspaper says that Samsung has decided to launch Tizen operating system based smartphones in Indian market.
Samsung’s Tizen operating system based smartphones are to be priced below $100 as they wants to compete with Andorid smartphones in the market.
Press conference meet and official release of first Samsung Tizen operating system based smartphones is to held on December 10, 2014 in India. Samsung’s Tizen operating system smartphones are named as Z1.
Firstly, Samsung Electronics planned to release Tizen platform based smartphones in Russian market. Now it officially announced Samsung Tizen smartphones will be launched initially in India.
Samsung Tizen operation system is also designed in such a way that runs on smartwatches, TV’s, vehicles and digital products too. Mostly smartphones launched by Samsung Electronics runs on Google’s own Android operation system.
Samsung inventively came up with its own operating system called Tizen (Z1) after intensive efforts. Samsung has striven hard to launch its own Tizen platform to reduce the US firms dependency.
Specifications of Samsung Tizen operating system are not revealed yet. As they are competing with smartphone manufacturing leaders, Samsung would definitely bring in best features in the Tizen smartphones.
